Storytelling: The story of eyes!

I mean I love me some blue eyes like any girl does...be it cute guy's or like my baby brother had very baby blue eyes or those dearly missed baby Simba's blue eyes which her only daughter inherited.

But still I'm a bigger fan of green eyes being born as a blond beady eyed strawberry (hence the dyed red hair!) girl myself with ever changing shades of green eyes. Often depending on my mood or the day.

So I can perfectly appreciate Simba's muted olive green circles tinted with specks of black, orange and gold.

Sometimes hiding a tiny dot of iris in the middle, and other times it's been pushed a side by those two enormous black moons. Only leaving a hint of green rim on the side.

That black iris is something special though!
It can go from a tiny dot, when she's curious and sweet to a very cat unique thin line running vertically across, when she's in #MadCat mode.

And they can blow up to the biggest 2 balloons that seem oddly hallow and on the same time containing entire universe in them!

But you get to see all of that for just a second because she will turn her stare away like any cat would. Unless you are special and just sometimes captivate her as much as she captivates you. And then you will have that gorgeous moment of shared gazes and she will put her soft paw on your cheek.

And that moment is simply

                              BEAUTIFUL

Here's just a little though I had the other day when we shared that special moment. I figured I might as well share it in this storytelling segment, so please enjoy! ;)

BTW if you're new here Simba is my little kitcat cattywax or by her online name #MadCat. :D
For proof, here's a TB pic of us:

I just recently tapped into lost footage of 2013. Since I was very constant and a good vlogger back then but had trouble just sitting down and editing my vlogs. Until I lost/misplaced all the footage and now we are here. With tons of unedited footage which I want to one by one share with you!

Continuing with our quest in South-France, the summer of 2013. The first day we had a rent car but the weather was feeling under. So we decided to go exploring the famous wineries in Avignon region and all the small villages and towns along the way and back. :D

Hope you enjoy it! ;)

Storytelling: Travel starts

As someone who's been telling stories since she first started speaking and has years worth of travelling stories, way more that I can actually pinpoint right now, I've learned next:

I find travelling stories really interesting and unique!
When you come back and tell the stories it’s really the time you’ll reflect on them and see your trip as a whole, not series of happenings but a big picture.

Plus the more you’ll tell others about some of the funny or misfortunate stories the more you’ll actually remember them later on in life. It's a fact! (at least it's always been true for me!)
Not telling others the stories in a bragging way but in the general sense. To tell a funny story, share things you saw and learned about the culture, inspire them or just explain what changed you and etc.

Unfortunetly I know from my own experience that most people don’t really want to hear about your awesome adventures. Which is really sad because I find them some of the best stories and I’m personally always up to watching other people's travel pictures, videos and read their blogs.

I know for some it may come from jealousy of seeing others full of life after recharging their batteries from day-to-day life, while they have just been stuck in their regular work routine. Because it's always visible for a naked eye how that person has changed after every trip. Be it happy to their core, mega relaxed, full of new ideas or overwhelming thirst for more adventures.

Also for some the jealousy comes from not being able to travel themselves. Be it financial issue, work related or because of their obligations. However, I've seen myself that most folks' problem is that they make other choices and value things differently. They make choices that won't lead to traveling and in most cases they already know that but in the aftermath they're still upset about not going.

I know what's my problem though! When my mom and dad divorced and the two of us moved across the country, it didn't take long when my mom started travelling. She got infected on her first trip and took me and my younger brother with her on the next one. I got my travel bug on my first trip too and ever since I've been addicted. I don't find anything els more satisfying and thrilling then drowning yourself in a new strange culture. You'll shut off where you're from and how you would normally approach things. You'll just keep an open mind and absorb the culture, people and surroundings. Sometimes it even feels like starting all over. For example, when I spent a year in South-Korea, where the culture is pretty much opposite to the culture I was raised in. So learning a new culture and language felt like being back at the age of 1-year-old when everything is strange and new and you don't know what to do or expect.

I love travel stories just because they are really thrilling stories, fun to listen, you’ll get some ideas for your own travel, or hear about places to or not to viste. Get some ideas where to go or what to do in certain places.

I know for a fact that my stories are always different but some how still united with the ones where I’ve traveled with the same people. I mean you’ll get into different adventures depening on who you travel with. And you’ll get different travel jokes with them! So choose your travel buddies carefully but also mix it up sometimes. Because that's the only way to know who you would like to travel with the most! ;)

SO I guess what I wanted to say is THANKS MOM! It's all your fault!!
NO but really, if it wasn't for you and your travel bug, I wouldn't have ever visited about 28 counties before the age of 22! I would have probably never moved to South-Korea for a year and right after graduation packed my bags and gone off to live in London and then Australia.  I LOVE YOU!!

And also guys go exploring more just to grow your spirit and widen the rim of your mind! ;)

PS! I decided to start ''Storytelling'' segment on my blog and I hope you guys will be excited for it! So let me know in the comments if you would like that!? :D

For addition here's few of doodles I did over some of my travel pictures!

Barcelona, Spain

I'm letting you know that doodling with Mac's track pad is really darn difficult. Plus I was determined to only use white paint so in many cases you can't even see something on the pictures that well. So let's see if you'll find the hidden King Kong, muffin, candy cane and some other stuff! ;)

Until next time,

VLOG: Aggy&Ale in Town

A little video from when Agnes and Ale came to visit in Estonia and we met up with Merilin and Madis and had a fun day out in Tallinn.

If you remember some of my older vlogs then me, Agnes and Merilin were the original cast of the first London gal series!

A footage of going to Brick Creativity City, Merilin&Madis' place and fun around Energy Centre...before my camera died. We were pretty out of it after so went home and relaxed. :)
And how adorable is Pepe, like a little mouse?!?

Until next time,

VLOG: Oz gal | Animals on the outback farm

There's just way too many animals you can see and meet on the farms in the outback, Australia. This video is only an edit of all the footage I had. I couldn't continue with the Oz gal series before introducing you to the special creatures I spent my 3 months with. So here they are! ;)

NB! How I wish I had footage of all the animals I saw and met there...lizards, wild pigs, huge-ass spiders and etc.

NB2! I would love to do a live commentary for this video but I could go on for hours with all the funny&cute stories plus awesome adventures! And tell you all about how raising those poddy-calf with 5 dogs made them thing and act like dogs too, super adorable! ;)

Until next time,

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Now if you've noticed I don't usually do holiday specific posts or videos much. I'm really out of that game. But I decided to do an easter related one, just because I love bunnies.
And since I haven't mastered the holiday themed posts I decided to tell you guys a story from my childhood. One of the reasons being that I haven't really celebrated Easter as a big thing for years and years now. For me it's more like a flash back to childhood. :)

I can't tell you how accurate I'm going to be with the facts but I'm going to tell you the story the way I remember it!

I yearn to have a bunny rabbit as a pet and occasionally drop subtle hints of my bunny love here and there. So the next story will probably explain where my love started for these fluffy little ones.

So the picture above is actually photo of me on my 5th birthday!
PS! The man holding the rabbit is my dad and the girl in the background is Agnes (one of my best friends and the one who you might have seen in my videos because I lived with her in London).

Let me set you a scene:

Every year pretty much since birth little girl Carol had the biggest birthday party of the year. Partly because she was born at the high point of summer, the sweet sweet and warm time in the end on July. And partly because it was thrown at the country side at her granny's place.

The place was capital B Beautiful and the land for kids to run around was huge. There were flower bed all around the property and just green everywhere. There were many activities to do. We ate a lot of food that my mom cooked with help from many including smoked fish by my uncles. Granny was keen on growing all sorts of fruit and berries. And even though grapes, and watermelons, and plums and apples, and cherries and pears weren't ready yet, we could eat strawberries and raspberries and gooseberries and sun flower seeds and kid's absolute favourite peas in pods fresh off the bushes.

There was a row boat in the river which ran around the property. And did I mention, on the river there was a small island that granny let us claim as ours and build treehouse on?! :D

Right next to the secret drive in (you drive over a bridge to get to the property but the bridge is hidden away by trees and bushes) theres neighbour's cow pasture, where we loved to secretly go and play around the cattle.

We would have this basic eating and chill out place for adults right next to the main house and a bit away from that area, you could relax and chat on hammocks hidden in the shadows of pear and apple trees.

Not only was the sun up high and just so warm every year, it would also for many many years be the exact time when one of the cats had kittens. So we would play with the dogs and kitties and have the Best Day!

Side note:

- Here I have to mention that I didn't really have many friends growing up and I would rarely invite
someone to the party myself. (It only happened few times and it was just one person at once) But it
would be the time that ALL of my family would come together. From my mom's side and dad's. We
would have all my cousins and aunts and uncles and everyones entire family. We would even have
all of the family friends or my mom and dad best friend with families over.
And this also might be the reason why I was really close with most my cousins and grew up with
them. And why I treasure family above all! But therefor didn't really have friends outside of the
family. (Just to keep count for now I have 3 siblings and from dad's side 6 cousins and from mom's
  side 8 cousins)

Now that I've painted you a VERY LONG but still vague picture of my annual birthday party let me get into the story:

It was my 5th birthday party when I was asked to open one of my presents which was a big cardboard box with air holes.

Side note:

-  I considered animals as my biggest passion when growing up! I would read about them and watch
documentaries on them. I would have even considered becoming a vet if only I didn't have a phobia
of blood and sharp objects close to skin and cut ins. I would try to save every lizard, bird,
mouse, hedgehog or a bug that was injured in anyway (often because of our cats and dogs). I'm not
going to get more into it but I've mostly been a lone wolf my entire life and animals where the
greatest friend I could ask for.

Now when I saw that box I knew there was a very special creature in it. Someone who I'm going to love with all of my heart. However I still remember it so clearly how my 1st though was that it's a TURTLE! xD
Don't even ask me why because I have no idea.

But it turned out to be my first rabbit, who I named Bug Bunny after my favourite cartoon character. <3

Even though 5-years-old I was perfectly capable of taking care of the animal. Even though I didn't get to see him daily because I lived in the city and he stayed at my grandmother's. Probably for other reasons too but manly because he wasn't a house bunny, he was down right rabbit who lived in the shed.
Regardless of that I would always cuddle him, cause he loved it, and I take him inside with me to watch TV on the couch. :3

After my 6th birthday he grew a tumour on his back and ''was sent away to a rabbit farm where I couldn't visit him but apparently it was a perfect place to heal him and he was happy'' or so I was told as kid. I got a ''replacement'' rabbit. I named him Potsataja.

On my 6th birthday, me and my cousin, who has a birthday close to mine, we got two female rabbits.
I can't give you the time frame, only because as a kid, time seemed and felt different to me as it actually was. So what happened next was between short period of time, I would think...

Imagine a male rabbit and a female rabbit living in the same cage for a while...do you know what's the after math?
I'll tell you! I didn't take long until we had around 50 rabbits! True story.

When we had new-born babies, sometimes the mother wouldn't feed the babies and so we had to help them out so they would survive. This was one of my favourite things besides feeding them hay straws though the cage's little wholes: gramma would take the mother on her lap and calm her down by stroking her and I would take the babies one by one out of the nest and but them on their mother's belly so they could feed. :)

I'm not going to get too much into what happened to the rest of the rabbits but in the end we had 4 of them left. Potsataja, the 2 female rabbits who were birthday presents and my favourite and the only black offspring bunny who we had. My favourite because he was the only one who survived from the very first litter. He was named Jänks. ;)
Ironically enough on my 7th or 8th birthday party kids forgot to close the shed door ,where the bunnies lived, and they all run away. :/
That was the end of our rabbit era!!

But because I don't want to end this little childhood flashback story on a sad note I'm going to tell you about the second time we had a bunny.
Well technically it was my younger brother's cony. He was jealous of me having hamsters as pets while he didn't have any of his own. So he got a bunny who he necklace soon after and so I was the one pretty much from the start who took taker of the bunny and loved this cuddly little one.

The funny story about her is...it took as about a year to realise that she was actually a he. :P

I hope you enjoyed my storytelling and have a fun Easter!

InstaRecap: Beginning of Oz !

I don't know about you guys but ever since I was sucked into social media I've had this intense desire to always go back and clean up some of my act. You know go back and delete some embarrassing or random or relevant updates at the time but useless and waist of space now. Be it fb wall posts (which I don't really do that much), old Insta photos or tweets or Youtube videos that are just TOO much!

Now when it comes to Instagram, which is my favorite social media platform besides youtube, while writing this post I have 1015 pics up!!! :O
And like I said I like to go back and delete a lot of the old stuff. But ever since I went to Australia I restricted myself from doing so...BECAUSE I knew I'm going to have wayyyy too many pictures and stories coming with traveling in Australia and I also knew I wouldn't be able to keep up. Especially since I didn't have Internet (or didn't have good enough Internet to post) for the majority of the year!!
So I though that doing InstaRecaps would be a perfect way to share some stories and also share some insight to some of the picture which only had emojis in captions. :P

SO here we go:

(1st row left to right)

  1. This is actually a picture from the day we had the last photoshoot with my bestie. And after suffering through that could for few hours, I snuggled up with her two pupps later on. :3
  2. - 4. Pictures from the cruise ship trip we took with girls to Sweden right before I left.
(2nd row left to right)

     5.  And off we went. Travelling to Australia for 2 days which meant spending NYE on the plain.
That was my worst NYE ever, and I've celebrated new year's eve in China, which meant
nothing happened since their NY starts few months later. :/
     6.  A marvellous picture of Abu Dhabi's airport ceiling. It was just dazzling.
     7.  Let me remind you that we came from Estonia's winter which was real cold and landing in
Abu Dhabi where we saw the first palm trees got me really excited. Especially since it was in
the middle of the summer in Australia. :D
     8.  Me and Helena on the plane all ready looking pretty ratchet. I mean we spent like 16,5h in
Abu Dhabi airport alone not even including the other airport waits and the actual flights too!

(3rd row left to right)

     9.  After my massive jet lag we managed to get our asses out of the hostel the next day after
6PM or sth. And the 1st place I wanted to visit was ACMI building. After living in Melbourne
on and off for a bit I must say it was my Favorite building from the whole city thanks to it's
          amazing architectural design!!
    10. Some more palm trees to raise the mood!! :D
    11. Alexandra Gardens become one of our favroite places to hang out. We sunbathed by the
riverside eating sushi or drinking ice coffees with the view of the skyline and the best people
watching spot. All kinds of birds walking/flying/swimming around you, people reading books
on the river bank, others jogging and bike riding and even kayaking. It was a bliss.
    12. Now yes we had our share of fun with Golden Gaytime jokes in the beginning but it didn't take
me long to realise it's THE BEST Australian ice cream. I mean I became obsessed and it was
pretty much the only ice cream I would buy and eat through out the entire year! And I take
my ice cream really seriously. ;)

(4th row left to right)

    13. Now the last row pictures are from one of the touristy things we did when in Melbourne. We
went to Michael's Camera Museum, free entry, and as you can tell I was WAY TO HYPER
about all of this! If you didn't know this, I have a little collection of vintage cameras at home
and I'm quite fund of them. And to see a collection to this size was just too much for me.
14.-16. Three camera photos that I decided to share with you are: My fav golden Nikon camera,
machine-gun look-a-like video camera created by Chinese and lastly Canon FTь which
I've had a hunt for to add to my collection. :D

And this is it for now. I'll leave 3 related vlog links here too, to see more! ;)
