Playing black poker part II

So this is part two of Albino and Melanistic animals. <3

Melanism is a development of dark-colored pigment in the skin or its appendages and is the opposite of albinism. Pseudo-melanism, also called abundism, is another variant of pigmentation, characterized by dark spots or enlarged stripes, which cover a large part of the body of the animal making it appear melanistic.

A common melanistic effect appears for Siberia's tamed foxes or better know silver fox:

This effect as it was with albinism might show up only partially:

Most common melanistic animal that most people didn't know have this effect are:

A lot of people think that black panters are a separat species but in reality they are jaguars and leopards suffering under melanism. However black panthers use it as a foraging advantage during night hunting.

Industrial melanism is adaptive melanism caused by anthropogenic alteration of the natural environment in terms of industrial pollution. As soot, smoke and other industrial pollutants from factories darken the landscape and because many organisms rely on camouflage to avoid predation, this sudden change in their environment makes them highly vulnerable to predators.

And that's why it might show up within any species:

There's also an effect called piebald. A piebald or pied animal is one that has a spotting pattern of large unpigmented, usually white, areas of hair, feathers, or scales and normally pigmented patches, generally black. This alternating colour pattern is irregular and asymmetrical.

Make Up Tutorial

I broke one of my eyeshadow's cases and the eyeshadow went everywhere. I didn't realize that a lot of it had gone into my hair too. So that's what the white dust is! =/

I just have to say this: I change my everyday make-up look constantly. I can were the same look for weeks and then after changing it I might never go back.

And I do know that the cat eyes are not matching.....off lighting...realized it after filming and fixed it then. :S

My crib

So this is my last video and I feel like I need to explain some stuff. For one thing I didn't feel like recording myself over it and that made me also forget to add some other things too.

This was my French class assignment and I decided to share it with you because this period of my life is soon to be ending. Of course I had to cut out my bad French. xD
And this also explains the BAD shaky filming cuz I was in the middle of things and did it in the hurry. ><

You see I'm moving away in the beginning of fall and this room really represents a lot of me and my interests. Also it might be too much to soak in all at once. It's a place I've lived the longest time in my life (5 years). I've moved 15 times all together (my parents divorced and made me move around all the time plus I moved to Korea too) and I've attended 4 schools (including Korea's).

Okey and some things I explained in French class:
My bed is infront of this HUGE window and French balcony. (Needles to say I'm anti-vamp and need loads of natural light all the time...so this is perfect)
Above the bed there's 2 shelves. First one is unfinished but galaxy theme and the other one with flowers obviously. On them I have my vintage radio I'm afraid to plug in cause it might explode. xD
And also my camera collection. On the spinning wheel next to my bed I have always a pile of unfinished books. (I have mentioned this in my previous videos too)
Then there's the frame for my jewelry that was a DIY.
After my vintage sewing machine you'll see my destinations globe. :D
And the rest is hopefully clear enough.

Albino Animals I part

I'm not sure why but ever since I was little I've really loved animals with albino or melanistic syndrom. And the why part is because I choose color over black and white everyday. Unfortunate for the animals this effect causes them to loose their camouflage and they will stand out from their natural background. However the standing out part might be the reason why I love this syndrom on animals so much.

In my opinion tigers are some of the most gorgeous animals on this PLANET. Their fur coat is just amazingly beautiful. But the albino and melanistic version attracts me too.
See the difference:

[Normal tiger]

[Melanistic tiger]

[Albino tiger]

[Not all melanistic syndroms appear deep black]

[Sometimes even the stripes undergo albino effect]

Sorry I could put about million pictures of felines here. I've just been really affectionate about them since AllWays. :D

So here's some lions too ^ㅈ^:

Albinism is the complete or partial absence of pigment in the skin, hair and eyes due to absence or defect of tyrosinase. Thanks to the effect eyes will apear light blue. For animals it might even be red because the colour of the red blood cells in the underlying retinal blood vessels shows through where there is no pigment to obscure it.

Partial albinism may appear as a small patch or even half body with out the pigment:

[Cheetah with out spots]

Not in all cases albino effect appears completely white on animals:

[The worlds only pink dolphin Pinky]

Most commonly know albinos are lab rat and testbunny:

This effect also occurs in people:

Albinism bobs up among many different species:

[The only so far known albino gorilla Snowflake]

Hope you enjoyed this extrem long post. I can't tame myself when it comes to animals and pictures. xD
But make sure to tune back for the second part of the post: Melanistic animals.
