VideoInspo: The Scarecrow

Haven't shared a video Inspiration with you for a while. But here is one with a VERY strong message.
Even though it's technically an ad for a video game it really gets the positive message across with out showing the terrifying and vulgar footage of reality.
I've been riding the V-Train for many many years now and constantly get asked questions and judged on this matter. I can honestly say that 70% of people have said it straight to my face that bening a vegetarian or vegan is idiocy and stupid. The reason why I never say a thing to them is because I can only conclude that they are either not well informed on the subject or just simply cruel people.

I'm not here to lecture you today or call anyone names but to Inspire you to look more into the matter and even if you don't go vegan at least make some smarter choices from time to time.

This video is super cute and in any case worth watching. :)

Until next time,
xx

InstaRecap: A week of touristy in Melbourne

It's been a while but I'm back to continue with the InstaRecap, to clean up my own wall and also to get more into the Australian adventures:
  1. So we'll start with the sunny chills on Federation Square! Were just the best! ;)
  2. Do any of you remember the Australian ''soap opera'' called ''Home&Away''? You know the show Isla Fisher and Tammin Sursok and Ryan Kwanten and Julian McMahon and Naomi Watts and OH Chris Hemsworth came from! Yep that's the show I'm talking about. And since I used to watch it when I was little I just had to take a picture of the studio house. (not the exact one they film at but the company that produces the show, Channel 7's Melbourne Studio)
  3. Enjoyed a nice sunset over the Central Pier when we went to check out Etihad Stadium.
  4. Just a random American car show on the Crown Promenade we stumbled upon. The weather was so nice and chill and out of nowhere came a big big wind storm, an actual hurricane. And we ran off to a museum we planned to visit anyways.
  5. The museum was ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image), the amazing architectural building based on Federation Square. The exposition we went to see was Screen World and as luck would have it, it was FREE!  But yeah that's totally my future TV! :D
  6. All I can say about this camera is that if it goes missing from the museum, I know nothing about it! hihi
  7. My favourite little slut!
  8. Pirates of Caribbean bastards managed to sneak in! Did you want to please me by showing me this or you just wanted to make me jelly?! Cuz you know I love me some PoC any day of the week.
  9. Just look at the interior design in this place! Wauzza
  10. Hunting for street arts for my collection! Yes the collection of photos of Street Art from all over the world. ;)
  11. Parliament Gardens has a nice water fountain constructer kind of thing and statues you can take quirky funny pictures on!
  12. Simply bricks of gold at the Old Treasury Museum.
  13. And the magical cate in China Town.
  14. But my favourite touristy attraction must have been the Lincoln-Memorial-feels-like Shrine of Remembrance with it's long-ass runway to the gardens of beauty.
  15. The hunt continues...
  16. And that was a week of touristy stuff in Melbourne. Sunbathing on the river bank on our last chill day before moving along! :3
And this is it for now. I'll leave 4 related vlog links here too, to see more! ;)

OOTD: Fly away on your flowered path!

Some of you may have already seen my winged backpack and some of you may not know it's my favourite as of the summer that flew past so quickly. I ordered this bag from online in the end of spring and have been wearing the HELL out of it since the day I received it.
It's simple style goes with any outfit and it's quirky design spices up any look! Plus it fits far more then it seems in size. Most importantly it fits my giant-ass camera! :D

So as you may see I've kept my outfit quite simple and basic...what I do most these days...yet stepped up my game with details here and there. Like the reflective sunnies. Simple in style but awesome in colour...white/transparent frame and yellow/orange glasses. Love it!
Also add in the belt with golden detailing and my favourite 90's style velvet choker.

There you have it. A way to funk up your blackjeans-whiteshirt-leatherjacket combo! ;)

Until next time,
xx

VLOG: B-Day Hassel

My birthday was a little over a month ago but I still decided to share this vlog with you. Why?! Because even though it was Wednesday and not much was happening in the middle of the week, my awesome crew-of-3 managed to still be idiots all over the town.
Like I said not much was happening on that day but we still had tons of fun climbing to places you're not allowed, tasting the fountain water, doing bubblegum shots and watching the stars while coming up with a hypothetical elaborated plan to break into a cinema just for one movie!
And I'm sharing this with you since my channel seems to be just all around fun and making me and my friends look like fools online! ;)
So I hope you'll enjoy!

Until next time,

OOTD: 22-year-gal

Now when I’m reflecting on the past year and planning for the new one I though I may share a piece of my mind here with you guys. Like I always do!
For a little explanation: a fresh start and a new year begins for me on my birthday not on NYE. Because that’s where it all started for everybody, right! ;)
And THE birthday was yesterday.

I’m a planner, list maker, calendar and diary keeper, so it’s no surprise that I planned a big deal of my life ahead at the age of 4. I’ve lived my whole childhood and teen years according to the plans. It’s nothing too strict or crazy and quite frankly leaves a lot of room for spontaneous decisions.

The past few months have been a bit stressful and upsetting just because I feel that I’m on a stand still right now. I didn’t plan to still be here, in Estonia, by this time. I mean I though I’m not moving back anymore. Not after moving away to London in 2013!

And over all with everything els as well. I haven’t accomplished things I hoped I will by this time and I’m not currently heading to the right way as well. So you see what has been upsetting me. Because here, in Estonia, it’s real easy to get stuck. And I did, after coming back from Australia.

But on the other hand I’ve done and accomplished so many things I would have never even dreamed of by this age.

I guess I’m just currently at the look out for the little piece of tread that get’s me up and going to the right direction again.

And I’m excited because I feel this is my year. It’s going to be huge. And I’m going to rock it!! ;)

On other notes there's some changes coming on this blog soon and also a new flood of OOTD posts. So let's kick it off with my Day 2 of Greece outfit!

Until next time,

TRAVEL: With me to Greece

SO I filmed this the day before going on my little trip, still deciding what to pack with.
But I did try pack light so only the essentials were needed!
In the end I did go with my trusty Nikon instead of the Canon in the video.
And of course ma MadCat kept her sharp eye on the packing as well. :3

Until next time,

Last time getting away!

So I've had hard time being away from my blog and channel for the past few weeks! Why?! Because it didn't feel like I was away....
I've been constantly inspired and full of ideas. All the content I wanted to put out here has been so vivid in my mind that after few days of thinking things through it feels like I've already put them out there.
With my week away in Greece and the stupid work schedule I haven't had ALL the time I need to put into one idea to bring it to life. Because when I commit, I'll COMMIT for realz. I'll do it 14h straight if needed. I would just be so sucked into it that either I won't ever finish it or I'll finish all in one go. That's why I haven't worked on any of the ideas and content I've had lingering because I know I haven't had ALL the time it needs in order to be complete.

Sadly some of those brilliant ideas are long gone now, or it's too late to bring those to life. SO that's that but to really come back to things....let's start with my most recent...Greece trip. I got back last Monday and have SOOOOO many posts and videos planned. You'll get a pre-video (hint hint! something to do with packing) you'll see another EP of the series ''Carol goes to...''. Of course I did daily vlogging like I do on these trips.

For the blog content I have tons of pictures as well. So travel photo diary, I have OOTD pictures from most days and besides that...I went there with my best friend, who you might remember from the past photoshoots. Me behind the camera and her doing her modelling thing equals perfect combination for photoshoots. So we had plenty, EVERY DAY. Therefor you'll get tons of photos from that too.

That all said I hope you're as excited about all of that as I am because I'm super happy and hyped!! ;)

Until the next post,
xx

WHERE THE SUN AT?!

''How's it going peeps?''
''Oh that's wonderful to hear!'' or ''I'm sorry to hear that, it will get better! Trust me!''
''How I've been? Well a bit busy if you consider my lack of posting. And not the good type of busy. The really uninspired kind of busy. Plus I've been really sick for the past week. But I'll be better! I know it! ;)''
''How's the weather been like where you're from?''
''Oh really? That's awesome, makes me quite jelly! We haven't had any summer weather yet. Which sucks eggs! I haven't had a change to leave the house without leather jacket or spring coat once, NOT ONCE! On the other hand I'm currently filming a Lookbook just for those occasions. So if it's summer but not quite the weather yet, you might find some outfit Inspiration in my upcoming video ''
'' But you know what?! I said it will get better! Even though they say summer won't be hitting Estonia before July, I'm real excited to take a little holiday in the end of this month!''
''I'M GOING TO GREECE!!!!! Supa excited''
''Getting some awesome outfit posts and videos and vlogs for you!'' :D

And that's all with my updates for now! But seriously how have you guys been? And how's summer been treating you? Going to some music festivals? or holidays? Come on! I wanna know! ;)

Until next time,

UPDATE: Good Morning!

I just had a random day off and decided to update a little bit while having one of my normal slow mornings. Update you why I haven't really been posting on my channel and blog regularly and why I've felt so uninspired. Which quite frankly makes me feel the worst. But I'm excited for this month. It's going to be SO GOOD! ;)

VLOG: nr.8 | Another Sweden trip

A weekend away with family to Sweden via cruise trip. And yes it was partly to visit Marleen on the new ship again!

I didn't originally plan to vlog because I've been over there too many times lately but I did get some clips...and since I always film her performances, I had enough footage for a whole vlog. So here it is: some dance, some music and some food! ;)

TUTORIAL: Blush Eyes Makeup Look x

So here's a very simple but awesome make-up tutorial of this one particular eye look I've been wearing pretty much the entire spring!

It developed out when I realised I'm not using a lot of my blushes just because they're too pigmented to actually blend in as a blush! This video was also somewhat inspired by the song 'Banks - Waiting Game'. And since I'm very much in love with this look I just really wanted to share it with You guys!

Until next time,

VLOG: nr.7 | Rough Weekend

A vlog numero 7 of 2015. It's a short one with not that much of footage over the 2 days. But it's okay I'll run this one through with you guys, giving some extra info and a background story! So you'll get 2 parties and a-mouse-looking pup plus lynx look-a-like cat! ;)

Until next time,

OOTD: Plaids in Wind

I haven't really brought any very resent outfit posts to you. It's been more like OOTDs from past that I didn't post at the time. But since our weather is playing around, up and down, sunny, windy, rainy, warm, cold, etc. constantly I've been pretty much wearing various combinations of this outfit:

Okay I know I went a bit craycray with the edits. But in all fairness I was editing this pictures at different times all through out the week and these are all the type of edits you've seen on my blog before. Just some styles of editing I like to use. ;)
But yeah I hope you enjoyed and I very much wish for some warmer weather any day now, please!

Until next time,
xx

Storytelling: The story of eyes!

I mean I love me some blue eyes like any girl does...be it cute guy's or like my baby brother had very baby blue eyes or those dearly missed baby Simba's blue eyes which her only daughter inherited.

But still I'm a bigger fan of green eyes being born as a blond beady eyed strawberry (hence the dyed red hair!) girl myself with ever changing shades of green eyes. Often depending on my mood or the day.

So I can perfectly appreciate Simba's muted olive green circles tinted with specks of black, orange and gold.

Sometimes hiding a tiny dot of iris in the middle, and other times it's been pushed a side by those two enormous black moons. Only leaving a hint of green rim on the side.

That black iris is something special though!
It can go from a tiny dot, when she's curious and sweet to a very cat unique thin line running vertically across, when she's in #MadCat mode.

And they can blow up to the biggest 2 balloons that seem oddly hallow and on the same time containing entire universe in them!

But you get to see all of that for just a second because she will turn her stare away like any cat would. Unless you are special and just sometimes captivate her as much as she captivates you. And then you will have that gorgeous moment of shared gazes and she will put her soft paw on your cheek.

And that moment is simply

                              BEAUTIFUL

Here's just a little though I had the other day when we shared that special moment. I figured I might as well share it in this storytelling segment, so please enjoy! ;)

BTW if you're new here Simba is my little kitcat cattywax or by her online name #MadCat. :D
For proof, here's a TB pic of us:

I just recently tapped into lost footage of 2013. Since I was very constant and a good vlogger back then but had trouble just sitting down and editing my vlogs. Until I lost/misplaced all the footage and now we are here. With tons of unedited footage which I want to one by one share with you!

Continuing with our quest in South-France, the summer of 2013. The first day we had a rent car but the weather was feeling under. So we decided to go exploring the famous wineries in Avignon region and all the small villages and towns along the way and back. :D

Hope you enjoy it! ;)

Storytelling: Travel starts

As someone who's been telling stories since she first started speaking and has years worth of travelling stories, way more that I can actually pinpoint right now, I've learned next:

I find travelling stories really interesting and unique!
When you come back and tell the stories it’s really the time you’ll reflect on them and see your trip as a whole, not series of happenings but a big picture.

Plus the more you’ll tell others about some of the funny or misfortunate stories the more you’ll actually remember them later on in life. It's a fact! (at least it's always been true for me!)
Not telling others the stories in a bragging way but in the general sense. To tell a funny story, share things you saw and learned about the culture, inspire them or just explain what changed you and etc.

Unfortunetly I know from my own experience that most people don’t really want to hear about your awesome adventures. Which is really sad because I find them some of the best stories and I’m personally always up to watching other people's travel pictures, videos and read their blogs.

I know for some it may come from jealousy of seeing others full of life after recharging their batteries from day-to-day life, while they have just been stuck in their regular work routine. Because it's always visible for a naked eye how that person has changed after every trip. Be it happy to their core, mega relaxed, full of new ideas or overwhelming thirst for more adventures.

Also for some the jealousy comes from not being able to travel themselves. Be it financial issue, work related or because of their obligations. However, I've seen myself that most folks' problem is that they make other choices and value things differently. They make choices that won't lead to traveling and in most cases they already know that but in the aftermath they're still upset about not going.

I know what's my problem though! When my mom and dad divorced and the two of us moved across the country, it didn't take long when my mom started travelling. She got infected on her first trip and took me and my younger brother with her on the next one. I got my travel bug on my first trip too and ever since I've been addicted. I don't find anything els more satisfying and thrilling then drowning yourself in a new strange culture. You'll shut off where you're from and how you would normally approach things. You'll just keep an open mind and absorb the culture, people and surroundings. Sometimes it even feels like starting all over. For example, when I spent a year in South-Korea, where the culture is pretty much opposite to the culture I was raised in. So learning a new culture and language felt like being back at the age of 1-year-old when everything is strange and new and you don't know what to do or expect.

I love travel stories just because they are really thrilling stories, fun to listen, you’ll get some ideas for your own travel, or hear about places to or not to viste. Get some ideas where to go or what to do in certain places.

I know for a fact that my stories are always different but some how still united with the ones where I’ve traveled with the same people. I mean you’ll get into different adventures depening on who you travel with. And you’ll get different travel jokes with them! So choose your travel buddies carefully but also mix it up sometimes. Because that's the only way to know who you would like to travel with the most! ;)

SO I guess what I wanted to say is THANKS MOM! It's all your fault!!
NO but really, if it wasn't for you and your travel bug, I wouldn't have ever visited about 28 counties before the age of 22! I would have probably never moved to South-Korea for a year and right after graduation packed my bags and gone off to live in London and then Australia.  I LOVE YOU!!

And also guys go exploring more just to grow your spirit and widen the rim of your mind! ;)

PS! I decided to start ''Storytelling'' segment on my blog and I hope you guys will be excited for it! So let me know in the comments if you would like that!? :D

For addition here's few of doodles I did over some of my travel pictures!

Barcelona, Spain

Czech Republic

Monte Carlo, Monaco

Stockholm, Sweden

Venice, Italy

New York City, USA

Vietnam

Hong Kong

London, England

Eagle's Nest, border of Germany & Austria

Cambodia

Rockhampton, Asutralia

Beijing, China

Seoul, Korea

I'm letting you know that doodling with Mac's track pad is really darn difficult. Plus I was determined to only use white paint so in many cases you can't even see something on the pictures that well. So let's see if you'll find the hidden King Kong, muffin, candy cane and some other stuff! ;)

Until next time,
xoxo
