PicDiary: The area of Avignon

On the first day of renting the car we drove to north to Avignon area. We first stopped in the city center, the old town, where we had some coffee and a little walking around time.

After that we headed to wine estates around that region. There where fields and fields as long as the eye could reach full of wine plantations. The manors all looked like straight from a movie. Just so marvelous and romantic. Even the cars where like puzzle pieces that fit perfectly to the big picture.

We had a little wine tasting in one of the mansions. Well the other had since I'm not really the biggest fan of wine. Never the less I still consider wine the most elegant alcohol drink in the history/world.

We continued driving up north and made a little stop after a while. I have no idea what's the name of this village but it was just soo adorable. We walked around until we found a nice cafe where we ended up trying some crème brûlée (French cuisine) which was divine.

After a long day we headed back south to Marseille and made few more stops along the way.

Writing letter for loved ones at home.
